Prepared for meetings. There are 30 points available each
week. To earn the points, the
patrol must be prepared to fulfill their weekly resposibilities on
time. They can lose
these points for not bringing the needed materials, not being able
to do what is on
the planning sheet, not knowing how to run the game they signed up
for, not being
ready when the time comes, etc. Examples would be pre-opening
games that don't
start until 7:05 or skits that are being practiced during song #1.
Behavior. There are 10 points each week for good behavior.
Advancement:
20 points for earning the Scout badge.
5 points for each requirement (Tenderfoot - First Class).
20 points for each Merit Badge.
50 points for each rank (Tenderfoot - Life).
50 points for completing all the Merit Badges required for Eagle.
50 points for completing the Eagle project.
50 points for getting the completed Eagle paperwork into the
office.
Skill games. 20 points each week, divided among the winners.
Attendance at meetings. Points are determined by multiplying
values by ten and
dividing by the number of members of the patrol. The values are:
full uniform = 5,
half uniform = 3, present = 2, and excused = 1. This works out
to providing 50
points each week if the entire patrol is present and in full uniform,
25 if half of them
are there in full uniform, 20 points if they are all there, but not
in uniform, and so on.
Dues at the first of the month. Percent of the patrol that
is even or ahead. Only
available once a month.
Campouts. Percent of the patrol on the campout multiplied by the number of nights.
Patrol meetings. 25 points each, up to twice each month.
Bonus of the month. 40 points, or 10 points per week.
(Depending on what bonus we
pick.)
PLC representation. Patrol Leader = 25, Troop Guide = 15,
Assistant patrol leader, or
other patrol member = 10 (only one of these).
